Communication

Communication is factored into all of our activities throughout the day. Communication styles are suited to each child's preferred method of communication and implemented in the classroom.

IEPs

Each child will be assessed on arrival to our school, after a team meeting with parents, teachers and therapists, an Individual Educational Plan will be drawn up. This education plan adapts to your child's progress throughout the year.

Social and functional

Classwork activities encourage socialization and functional daily activities to encourage relationship building and communication with peers as well as the animals that we have at our school.

Therapy

We encourage our parents to seek additional therapy for their child, depending on your child's needs. The Children's Therapy Centre is next door to our school, allowing for therapists to fetch the children for therapy during school time for your convenience.
